I stayed at a Sun Outdoors location and, i felt kind of embarrassed for being excited about the amenities after seeing the photos online. They made everything look so nice, but once we got there, it really didn’t match up.
The pool looked dirty, some of the chairs were broken, and the laundry room had machines that were out of order the whole time we were there. The bath house also had a bad smell and didn’t seem like it was being cleaned very often.
For what we paid, I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but I did expect the basics to be working and kept up. It was awkward because I had talked the place up beforehand, and then it ended up feeling neglected in person.

There was a mix-up with my booking at first, but they got it sorted out quickly and were helpful about it. These things happen, and I appreciated how they handled it. I’d be happy to use them again.

We stayed here for the weekend and had a decent time overall. The place is nice and the staff we talked to were friendly, which I appreciated. The only thing that stood out was how the rules were enforced. They’re posted all over the resort, but it felt a bit uneven — some loud groups seemed to be left alone, while others were called out right away. Not a huge deal, but I do think it would feel better if the rules were handled the same for everyone.

We stayed a few nights and ended up using the laundry room twice. It was clean enough, so that was fine, but a couple of the machines were out of order and we had to wait way longer than we expected?? The dryers also took forever to actually dry our towels. It wasn’t terrible or anything, just annoying when you’re on vacation and trying to get laundry over with.

From what I remember, the snacks were decent enough, but nothing really stood out. The drinks felt a bit overpriced, and I recall wishing there were more actual meal options to choose from. Overall, it was just okay.

We stayed here with our dog and overall it was easy. The pet areas were nice, and the staff was chill about having him with us, which I appreciated. My only gripe is the lack of waste bins around the property, i blame the hotel a bit for that because when you’re walking a dog, you really don’t want to carry a bag forever. Still, it was a solid stay for bringing our pup.

My phone was fully charged, so that wasn’t the issue—there was just basically no Wi-Fi or cell service the whole time. I couldn’t get online or check any updates during the stay

This place just didn’t feel that family-friendly to us. It was loud at night, there wasn’t much to keep younger kids busy, and when we asked the staff for help, they kind of acted like it wasn’t their problem. Maybe they’re aiming for a different crowd, but for families, it missed the mark.

The dates on my reservation were correct, but the cabin type didn’t match what I was expecting. Maybe I missed something when booking, but it seemed a little off.

Booking was straightforward, and I appreciated that the price was shown clearly before I paid. There were a couple extra fees added in, but at least they showed up before checkout, so it wasn’t some last-second surprise. i think it just hit me at a bad time because I was trying to book quickly and didn’t feel like seeing the total climb at all. Would be nicer if the first price was closer to the final amount, but overall it was still a good experience

The staff were nice and helpful, but it took around a little longer than I expected to get a reply.

I don’t know, I was really hoping for a decent night’s sleep, but the noise just kept going pretty much all night. There were supposed to be quiet hours, but it didn’t seem like anyone was actually enforcing them. I mentioned it to staff it felt like they weren’t too concerned. So yeah... not the most relaxing stay.

I stayed here, and the bathrooms and showers were not great at all. Wet and dirty the floors were, the trash was overflowing, and the shower stalls looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while. I know camping isn’t supposed to be fancy or anything, but this was just kind of gross. Made the whole stay feel uncomfortable for me...

The website made it seem like there would be a lot more going on, so we were a bit confused when we got there. The activities were underwhelming and the entertainment didn’t really hold anyone’s attention. The kids got bored fast, and we ended up leaving the site most days just to find something else to do.

We only stayed one night, but I didn’t feel very secure. The lighting around our spot was poor, and after dark I barely noticed any staff around. Maybe it was just that particular area, but I felt uneasy enough that we ended up leaving early. It’s frustrating because it seems like a preventable issue with better lighting and more visible staff presence.

I was expecting the place to be somewhat close to the beach or at least near a few things to do, but it felt out of the way. There really wasn’t much fun nearby, so getting anywhere took more effort than I thought it would.

The rental was decent overall, but the cabin felt a bit worn down. Floors weren’t very clean when we got there, so that part was disappointing

Our spot felt really small, and the neighboring sites were so close it felt like everyone was right on top of each other. I think a lot of campers would probably appreciate a bit more space and privacy

Just a warning for anyone thinking about booking through sunoutdoors.com, our stay was disappointing. The whole place felt run down, like it hadn’t been properly kept up in a while. The bathrooms needed attention, trash was left sitting around way too long, and our site had broken stuff that never got fixed. For what they’re charging, I wouldn’t say it’s worth it.

We stayed here with our RV, and the hookups were a headache the whole time. The power kept cutting in and out, which made it hard to relax because we were constantly wondering what was going to stop working next.
The water pressure was weak off and on too. We called about the issues, but nothing really got fixed while we were there. What made it more annoying was getting the same canned “sorry for the inconvenience” type response instead of anyone actually taking care of it.

For what we paid, I expected the basic RV setup to actually work. I can deal with small issues, but not when the essentials keep failing and all you get is a generic apology. I wouldn’t book an RV spot here again.
